Our wedding was 3hrs away on Mackinac Island. I did welcome tins. They had bath and body lotion candle and shower gel, 5-6 mini alcohols, 1/2lb of fudge, cupons for free drinks/apps and discounts for the carriage tours, bike rental and the run down for the wedding day as to the time line. They all LOVED them and it was better then a favor. They were waiting in the rooms when they checked into the hotels/b and b's. Below are some pictures...this is only 1/2 done. So the day befor ethe wedidng I was on the "taxi" all day delivering baskets. Man it s*cked, but worth it in the end!

Lindt Truffles and heart shaped soaps.
I didn't have a charity that I felt strongly enough to donate to, but didn't want to give a typical favor that would get thrown out.
Chocolate was a hit and for most people, it was eaten before they got home that night or the next day

Our favors were votive placecard holders, 2 Lindt Truffles per person and a LiveStrong bracelet for each person. We really wanted to do something meaningful, so we purchased the Livestrong bracelets in honor of my husband, who is a testicular cancer survivor, and all of our other loved ones who were cancer survivors (see my avatar for a pic). It was really nice because I have a ton of pictures of our guests wearing the bracelets while dancing and having fun.

We gave this:
We had the staff light them so they acted as decoration too. I attached a tag that said Our names and the date and had the DJ announce that everyone should take one.
They went over pretty well-people still talk to me about them and I will be married 3 years in June

2 different Lenox ornaments, only I replaced the standard red hanging ribbon with personalized navy satin ribbon.  I had 3 on my tree this year.
